Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue is a dedicated wildlife charity based in Blewbury, Oxfordshire.
From our wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, we care for over 4,000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds every year.
Our team of volunteers give their time 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to make sure wildlife casualties receive care and attention in their hour of need.
It’s only with your support and donations that this life-saving work is made possible.

We are dedicated to and specialise in the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned British wild animals and birds throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.
Our charity runs a free 24‑hour wildlife ambulance service across Oxfordshire for all large wild mammals and birds such as deer, foxes, badgers, otters, swans and large birds of prey.
We believe that every species of wildlife deserves the very best care, attention and a nurturing environment. Working alongside veterinary professionals, we strive to return every native creature to its natural habitat once healthy enough wherever it is possible to do so.
Our work is only made possible with the help and support of our volunteers and is funded only by your donations.
Our Mission

By making a donation to OWR, you will be helping our small but dedicated team rescue and save thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals we see every year.
As a small charity, we are funded solely by the kindness and generosity of members of the public.
With your help, we can continue to be here for wildlife for today, tomorrow and the future.
Thank you for your support,

THE STORY OF
OWR
OWR started from humble beginnings, in the family home of the founders 'Luke & Ruth'. Founded in 2018 as a charity, the rescue has grown in size to what is now a wildlife charity that rescues thousands of sick and injured wildlife every year.
