Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue, is a small independent award- winning wildlife rescue charity based in the south of Oxfordshire.
We specialise in the rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife. We do this with the aim to return our patients back to the wild once fit and healthy enough to fend for themselves.
As a small charity, our work is only made possible by the kindness and generosity of donations made from members of the public.
With your help, we can be there for wildlife in their hour of need.
Best wishes,

OWR 24-HR Wildlife Rescue Service
Wildlife matters. Our aim is to try and restore some ethical balance to help sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in their hour of need.

Our wildlife ambulance is ready to spur into action 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Whenever the call comes in, we are ready to help wildlife in their hour of need.

Care & Rehabilitate
We operate from our wildlife rescue & rehabilitation center which is located in Blewbury. Here we hold specialist facilities that can help a wide range of British wildlife species.

Release
The sole aim of our work is to rescue, care and release all of our patients back to the wild. Its vital that these animals and birds go back to the environment to fulfill their roles in the ecological system.

Volunteer with us!
Our volunteers are the backbone of our operations here at OWR. Without them, we wouldn't be able to care for the thousands of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals that the charity is called upon to help in their hour of need.
We have a wide range of volunteering positions available, including animal care, fundraising, events, media, veterinary and our wildlife ambulance service.
If you’re 18 or over, care about British wildlife and want to make a real difference, then we’d love to have you join our team.

THE STORY OF
OWR
OWR started from humble beginnings, in the family home of the founders 'Luke & Ruth'. Founded in 2018 as a charity, the rescue has grown in size to what is now a wildlife charity that rescues thousands of sick and injured wildlife every year.
